Dr. George Ntiri

George K. Ntiri Ph.D in Sociology, MSc in Resource/Development Economics. He combines interests in teaching and research to support community based, stakeholder driven social change initiatives from local to national and international levels. Past and ongoing activities include: collaborative university-community programs for Inclusive Community and Whole Schooling in Metropolitan Detroit Area; Neighborhood Transition and Community Based Employment Supports for Persons with Disabilities; Community circles to stimulate economic development; Village to Village, a pragmatic initiative to link community building and school improvement efforts in the Detroit area with other communities, particularly in Africa; Links and Linkages Abstinence and Prevention (Alcohol, Tobacco and other drugs) for youth, young adults and families; Research on Quality of Managed Health Care for Children with special healthcare needs; Evaluation of HRSA HIV/AIDS Consumer Reviewer Training and Workplace Resource Project. CBPHP is a culmination of the foregoing contributions and initiatives of program staff and consultants.
