Njima Murphy has a BA in Liberal Studies with a concentration in Urban Studies and English (Peace College in Raleigh NC), BS Community Development (Siena Heights University in Adrian Michigan). Njima has molded her education to reflect her personal perspective and interest in Health and Beauty/Body-Image-Shaping, Food Security, Fair and Equitable Housing and community development. Her advocacy initiatives range from local Metropolitan Detroit and Flint, Michigan to international needs for access to clean water, reproductive rights, access to basic education and healthy families as bedrock of healthy communities. Njima's message about the rights and needs of families, youth, community and women are communicated through practical activities in the forms of advocacy, protest, photography and expressive art.
